Does Your Child Know How To Be Appreciative Even When Disappointed?

How well does your child handle disappointment?  What will happen when a much anticipated gift from Grandma turns out to be clothing?  How will your child react?  I came across an article by Diane Randall that discusses how to teach your child to be appreciative even when they are disappointed.  This article with some very practical advice is worthwhile reading for any parent:
