Books To Read Your Child For The 100th Day of Kindergarten

Every Kindergartner in every Kindergarten classroom knows that the 100th day of school will soon be here.  They know because they have been counting the days in school as part of the day’s opening activities and getting more and more excited as the big day draws near.  On the 100th day there will be many activities in your child’s Kindergarten classroom revolving around the number 100.  Your child might even get a homework assignment to collect 100 items(small of course) and take them to school for the 100th day.  To help your child understand more about how many 100 really is, here is a list of books to read with your child.  Take a look and see if there might be some books that you would like to share with your child.

The hardest part of the 100th day is convincing these Kindergartners that the 100th day of Kindergarten is NOT the last day of school.  Good Luck with that!

  1. Hi Claire,

Thanks for pointing folks to the list.

I have a couple students who are student teaching in K right now. I’ve been sending them here for ideas. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.
